Mandolinist and Mandolocellist
Michèle Peladan started playing the mandolin thanks to the discovery of Vivaldi's mandolin concertos, which was a decisive and fabulous encounter. She studied the mandolin in Italy, the homeland of this instrument, at the Aquila conservatory, and at the Argenteuil conservatory in France, where she obtained her diplomas in mandolin, harmony, music history, musical training, chamber music...

She also holds the State Diploma in early music in mandolin. Passionated about art and philosophy, she holds a master's degree in Aesthetics from the University of Montpellier. Her very keen taste for ensemble music leads her to give numerous concerts in France and abroad with various groups: chamber music, orchestra, soloist with the Baroque Graffiti ensemble directed by Jean-Paul Serra, in duo with guitarist Philippe Spinosi… She has performed at the Château de Lunéville to Courmayeur, Brescia, the Carzou Foundation… She plays in many festivals: Basse-Arcadie, the Estivales d'Allauch, Nevers Organ Festivals , Roquevaire with Jean-Pierre Rolland… She also gives numerous recitals with original repertoire. She's a mandolin teacher in Marseille at the Cité de la Musique, in a college and in other schools. In addition to these multiple activities, Michèle composes a lot, notably for the mandolin and directs the plectrum ensemble of the Cité de la Musique de Marseille.
